Pacific Yachting Preparatory Course

If you are already ASA or US Sailing Bareboat Certified, and feel rusty, we recommend taking our Bareboat Chartering Course again. We will review docking, man overboard, navigation, etc. on Saturday and test you on all of the topics on Sunday for a total of 14hrs. More information on our Bareboat Chartering page.

Another idea would be to take a private lesson for a full or half day and we would customize a course to your needs. The captain/instructor will focus on topics relevant to you and your charter destination. Topics may include: a chart talk, Bahamian or Med. anchoring techniques, using a windlass, using an outboard, mooring, and towing and beach-landing a dinghy.
