Depart JFK non-stop to Athens.
Day 1: Arrive Athens around midday. Relax in A-class hotel or explore Athens. "Meet the group" gathering, climb to the Parthenon, or sleep. It's your vacation.
Day 2: After breakfast, join the group on a 1/2 day tour aboard an air-conditioned land yacht with archaeological guide. Afternoon and evening free.
Day 3: After a boat briefing, hoist sail for the island of Poros. Anchor in front of the bustling town or in a nearby quiet cove. Meet at a favorite taverna for a Greek feast!
Day 4: A short ferry ride takes you to Epidauros to admire the best preserved ancient theater in Greece. Afternoon sail to Spetses. Relax or wander the cobbled alleys and taste the famed "Fish a la Spetsiota."
Day 5: Everyone's charmed by Spetsos, so we'll stay another day. Spectacular beaches, a naval museum, birthplace of a seafaring heroine. Tour, swim, snorkel, rent a motorbike and/or sun on a deserted beach on the backside of the island.
Day 6: Sail off the wind to Ierakas. A very small, fjord-like harbor on the Peloponnesian coast, an unspoiled picture of traditional Greek life.
Day 7: A worthwhile day-stop just south of Ierakas is Monemvasia, a walled town which has barely changed since the Byzantine period.
Day 8: Cruise up the mainland coast to Leonidhion, a hamlet nestled beneath towering cliffs.
Day 9: Miracles have been known to happen at a nearby mountain monastery. After a healing, swim in crystalline waters on Tselevinia, then sail onto Idra, aka Hydra, a favorite among anyone who has cruised Greece.
Day 10: Idra, also beloved by painters for its local color and architecture, enchants by day and night. Stroll the cosmopolitan waterfront, lounge in a cafe, ride donkey-back to the hilltop for the views. For a exceptionally quiet night anchor off the deserted island of Dhokos.
Day 11: But the gorgeous beaches, harbors, architecture don't end. Sail the yacht into Egina and snorkel over the remains of an ancient harbor. Fish lovers - the market is the place to eat.
Day 12: Sail to the small wooded island of Angistri. The day is yours. Row around a quaint fishing village, or simply savor the life in one of many secluded coves.
Day 13: Return the yachts to the Athens base by noon. Transfer into the hotel. The night is yours.
Day 14: After breakfast, fly home, or spend a few extra days. Add-on excursions to other sites or islands, (Santorini, Mikonos...) can be easily arranged. We'll send you a list of popular options.
